Paula Ziegler graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor Fine Arts degree, concentrating in Communication Design. Working as a graphic designer and art director in both the corporate and non-profit sectors along with free landing allowed her to maintain her fine arts skills.
Paula’s paintings draw from her love of animals and nature. She does commissioned pet portraits in acrylics and/or oil paints. Her own work features a study of horses in their barn or pasture settings.
Painting with acrylics, which has a fast drying time, allows her to generate detailed fur patterns—part of her signature style. She notes that “all creatures great and small” are fascinating in their own beauty and uniqueness.
