Donna Unger

Born in Havertown, Donna married and moved to Berks County in 1965. While raising her three children, she channeled her creative abilities into a career as a beautician. Her hobbies of breeding and showing Irish setters and quarter horses also reflected her artistic bent.

It wasn’t until 2000 that she begin to pursue her dream of becoming an artist. She is now expressing herself through art and loving every moment!

Donna has been privileged to exhibit her work in the Berks Art Alliance, Juried Show, Immaculata University Art Show, Birdsboro Friends of the Arts show, The Reading Hospital Art Show, and Flatworks Kutztown Art Show. Her work can currently be seen at Art Plus Gallery in West Reading. Sunshine Blue Skies in Wyomissing, and Five and Devine in Wernersville. She is proud to have her work include din many private collections.

Donna’s paintings are a bold mixture of different media, design, color, line texture, and varied subject matter. She enjoys thinking and painting outside the box.

It gives Donna great joy to be painting and taking part in the glorious world of art. It has given her a chance to see things in a different light with a new awareness and meaning. Art truly is a celebration of life.
