Congratulations to the award-winning artists in Studio B’s “In Service” exhibit. Juror for the awards is Robert Louis Williams. Bob was a combat artist in the Marines during the Vietnam War.
The reception was held Friday, June 26. The exhibition is open to the public Thursday – Sundays 12-4pm and Friday evenings 5-7pm through August 23, 2026.
Best in Show was awarded to Deb and Jim Meehan for their mixed media piece “Citizen Soldier.”
Sharon McGinley earned Second Place for her acrylic “Into Home Square,” a touching tribute to a friend who sustained mortal injuries during the Vietnam War.
Third place went to Kathryn Morgan for “Bird Affirmations.”
Honorable Mentions were awarded to Donna Smith for her mixed media sculpture “Gary,” honoring those who fix things for us and to Joseph Cashore for his oil painting “Benjamin Franklin Contemplating the Revolution.”
