Meet Ozzie Sneddon, Studio B’s newest art instructor!

Ozzie brings energy, creativity, love of art, and experiences in designing and producing video games to his drawing and painting classes. Ozzie’s associate degree in animation from Delaware College of Art and Design, Wilmington, DE, added to his natural talents and love of storytelling through imagery promise to enhance the natural talents of his students. Plus, he’s learned from the best: Jean Esther and his Boyertown High School art teachers!

    

Title: Drawing and Painting

Description: Ideal for developing artists and beginners. Discover how exciting and diverse drawing and painting can be. We explore our imaginations and learn how to translate ideas into successful drawings. Topics include creating your own characters, anatomy of a superhero, comic book illustration, and anime along with landscape and still life. Line, shape, texture, color, value, and so much more will be covered in this exciting, on-going class. Learn proper techniques for using a variety of media.

Day: Wednesdays

Date Range:  On-going/drop-in

Times and Ages:

6:00-7:30 p.m. – Ages 7-18

Cost: $25 week/ $85 for 4 weeks

Title: Portrait Drawing

Description: This class teaches a solid foundation in drawing portraits. From the skull and muscle structure to facial features, we will understand the properties and proportions of the face.  Instruction is individualized, tailored to each student’s abilities and goals.

Day: Thursdays

Date Range: On-going /drop-in

Times and Ages: 7-18

6:00-7:30 p.m.

Cost: $25 per week/ $85 for 4 weeks

FUN!! Title: Paint with Pints or Scapes with Grapes!

Description: Choose a painting for your party to produce. We supply paint, easels, brushes, expert instruction; you bring the party! Each person will leave with a lovely painting to be proud of, one that their family can enjoy for years to come.

Guitar Lessons

Description: Have fun making music while learning the basics. Corey Klaus’s classes consist of easy-to-follow jam sessions peppered in with music theory in an all-inclusive, relaxed, creative environment. Bring your own guitar if possible.

Group Lessons:
$25 Per Person for 1 hour
(Package of 4 for $85)
Minimum of 3 students

Days: Saturdays. Time to be determined.
Ages: 5-15

Private Lessons:
$40 per 1 hour session. $150 for package of 4.

Description: Spend 1 ½ hours with fine artist Angela Izzo. Learn classic techniques along with Angela’s tips and tricks.

Title: Breakfast Yoga

Description: A gentle hatha yoga class with emphasis on healing and expansion of knowledge and energy work. Release stress, do breath work, have fun, and do a therapeutic class with Jill Prout,  yoga instructor with 500 hours of yoga and yoga therapy instruction.


Days: Thursdays, on-going Time:  9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

Cost: $60 for package of 6.

Title: Young Printmakers Workshop with Melissa Strawser

Description: Young Printmakers Workshop, a family workshop for Mommy and Me (or guardian), nurtures curious kids and creates strong family bonds. The Art of Printmaking provides a tactile, hands-on, easy, fun way to STEAM-based early learning bridging together Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math while strengthening problem solving. Our print workshop follows along with sing-a-long songs, wee little problem-solving projects, a craft and the Art of making a Print.

Ages: 1-5: Siblings under 1 are FREE

Writers who submitted poems or prose to this year’s book are invited to read their selections and share the experiences that provoked their work and the “Let’s Rant!”

 

Art Painting Socials: SATURDAY JANUARY 20TH in cooperation with the Pottstown Area Artists Guild invites all artists once a month on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon—1 p.m.-4 p.m. Any and all artists are welcome to bring paintings that they are working on for critique, to continue the work in the company of other artists, and to socialize.
