Studio B was founded in 2008 by Boyertown’s Arts & Activities Alliance, a group of artists and citizens who wanted the area to have a place for creativity to flourish.
Studio B is a volunteer-run gallery and teaching studio. We offer monthly shows year round as well as classes and workshops in spring, summer, and fall.
Studio B is located at 39A Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512.

Bob Hakun, Gallery Director
Assemblage artist Bob Hakun turns found objects into art. After his job designing and sculpting halloween masks and costumes was exported to Asia, (along with the entire US toy industry), he turned his creativity into graphic design: working as a computer graphic designer and prepress manager at several printing companies.
Bob missed the tactile interaction of creating art with his hands, and, after spending his days at the computer desk using only the keyboard and mouse as his artistic tools, he started making heavy, rusty art assemblages from found objects in the evenings.
He has become known for his multi-themed assemblages in rust. Bob is a 1976 Graduate of Kutztown University with a BFA in painting.
Jane Stahl, Community Relations Director and A&AA Chair
A former Boyertown High School English teacher, Jane is now a full-time advocate for the arts. She takes care of grant writing and general operations.
Bob Wood, Gallery Adjunct & Volunteer
Bob is the best! A well-known local artist and former teacher, Bob has been a huge help to us. You can find him behind the desk every Sunday from 11-2pm.
